The Rich Eisen Show’s 2026 NFL Sleeper Teams Draft Round 2: Steelers, Vikings & Falcons

Round two of the sleeper team draft snaked back the other way, and it produced the single most painful pick guest host Seth Rollins has ever made on television.

1. Minnesota Vikings, taken by TJ. He built the pick backwards, describing the roster before naming it. A quarterback competition, one Hall of Fame-bound wide receiver, a really good tight end, a talented second receiver.

"I think it's going to be the guy who came from the desert," TJ said, landing on Kyler Murray.

He was upfront that this is feel more than analysis.

"We're throwing darts here right now," TJ said. "I feel like the Vikings have something to prove, and I think they're going to be a better team than most people are giving them credit for."

The supporting argument is that Minnesota is only two years removed from a 14-3 season and the main thing that has changed since is the quarterback, from Sam Darnold to J.J. McCarthy and now, per the oddsmakers, to Murray. TJ also likes the defense under Brian Flores. With that receiving group, counting the tight end, he thinks you are never out of a game.

Rollins, whose division this is, gave the pick a compliment and a curse in the same breath. He likes the Vikings here. He also hopes they lose every single game they play.

2. Atlanta Falcons, taken by Chris, who stayed in the South. New head coach, a winnable division, and a quarterback question he thinks resolves itself.

"Sometimes you need a change of scenery, and I think Tua needed a change of scenery," Chris said, pairing Tua Tagovailoa with Kevin Stefanski.

He acknowledged Michael Penix is in the building, but pointed out Penix is coming off another injury. Around whoever plays, Chris likes Bijan Robinson in the backfield, a Kyle Pitts who finally started living up to his draft slot last season, and a defense stocked with high draft choices. His vision is an offense that keeps producing in the red zone, provided Tagovailoa stays healthy, which he flagged as always a question mark.

Rollins was not convinced on Atlanta but would not hear anything negative about Robinson.

"He's good for like five wins by himself, at least," Rollins said, before suggesting they play him on defense too and make it seven.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers, taken by Rollins, visibly against his own will.

"This is paining me to do this. I feel it deep inside my heart," he said, and then said Aaron Rodgers out loud.

The case is that this is the last dance and Rodgers knows it. He has Big Mike back, an offensive system he wants to run, and a new weapon on the outside next to DK Metcalf. Rollins reached for that receiver's name and produced Calvin Johnson, at which point Chris supplied Calvin Ridley.

What Rollins actually values is the pre-snap work.

"He's not moving the ball down the field the way he used to when he was younger. He can still rocket it when he needs to, but he is such an incredible game manager," Rollins said, describing a quarterback who reads the defense and changes the play instantly. With more control of that this season, Rollins thinks Pittsburgh is dangerous.

The division helps the argument. Rollins is not sleeping on Cincinnati or Baltimore, but he sees questions everywhere. Baltimore is in flux and moving on from a Super Bowl head coach in John Harbaugh. Cincinnati has to prove it has a defense and that Joe Burrow stays healthy. Cleveland traded away a defensive player of the year.

Add Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt and Patrick Queen still on defense, and Rollins thinks the Steelers exceed a very low bar from the oddsmakers.

"I can't believe I'm rooting," he said. "Wow."
