Myles Garrett Is HEADED TO THE RAMS?!

The Cleveland Browns are trading Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, and Rich did not need long to size up what it means: the Rams are not messing around.

Los Angeles, in Rich's read, just told the rest of the league it is built to win now. The move pairs Garrett with Matthew Stafford, the team's MVP quarterback, and Rich suspects watching this kind of aggression might make Stafford want to keep playing until his wheels fall off.

The deal also clarifies what the Rams think they have in Ty Simpson. Los Angeles took Simpson 13th overall and clearly believes he is the quarterback of the future, which frees the front office to spend its premium capital on a defender instead.

"They don't need your first-round choice on a quarterback or anybody, quite frankly," Rich said.

He painted the on-field consequence in vivid terms for the rest of the division. "Next time the Seahawks are inside the 20 or the 10, or Brock Purdy's anywhere on the field, we've got Myles Garrett coming for you," Rich said. The Rams, he added, believe they can win now and win in their own stadium.

As for the price, the terms relayed on the show send Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and additional compensation to Cleveland. Rich figures the Browns came out fine. Garrett may be technically irreplaceable, but Verse is a young stud who will land in Cleveland with a chip on his shoulder.

Big breaking news indeed, as Rich put it.
