Die-Hard Cowboys Fan TJ Jefferson Predicts Dallas Will Win HOW MANY Games?!?!

TJ Jefferson wanted to get aggregated. He got aggregated.

The setup was innocent enough. Suzy had suggested TJ come on and declare that Patrick Mahomes is washed and the Chiefs are over, purely as bait. TJ had a better idea. "All I need to do is make a solid Dallas Cowboys stand," he said, and then, when Rich asked for a win-loss prediction on the spot, he did not blink.

"Seventeen and oh."

That was the joke. What followed was not.

Rich called an audible on the rundown, blew up the entire hour, and made TJ play the Cowboys win-loss game live, without the notes he had prepared for later. His Instagram-story ambitions had officially hijacked the show, which is exactly what he wanted after watching LeBron James hand Chris a twenty-two emoji salute the day before.

Here is how it went, game by game.

At the Giants, a win. Home for the Commanders, a win, because Washington is one and thirteen in the last fourteen against Dallas. Then the Ravens in Rio, and TJ, citing the temptations available down there, threw up the Larry Johnson and took the loss. At the Texans, another loss. "Texans sometimes have our number."

Two and two. Then the run started.

Thursday night against Baker Mayfield, a dub, with respect due. At the Packers, a win, in spite of Green Bay's history of doing Dallas dirty, because TJ likes what Caleb Downs brings. At the Eagles on a Monday night, the one road game he conceded. Four and three.

The Cardinals came to town next, and Rich pointed out that a loss there would make it four and four and set off a five-alarm fire. TJ was unbothered. Arizona does tend to have their number, he acknowledged, but not this year.

At the Colts, dub. Home for the 49ers, and this is where the segment found its poetry. TJ has said since the day he got a microphone on this show that the Niners are a hurdle Dallas simply cannot get over. Not anymore. "This year calls for Renaldo Nehemiah," he said, "because we're jumping over the hurdle."

Home against the Titans, a win, and TJ delivered the most reliable rule in the history of this game. Nobody has ever called in and predicted their team would lose to the Titans, and he was not going to be the one to break the streak.

Then the birds. Eagles on Thanksgiving, a win, because what do you eat on Thanksgiving. Seahawks on Monday night, a win, because what is a Seahawk. Another bird. Jaguars, a win, with a shout out to Tony Khan, because you could eat a jaguar if you could catch it. Rams, a win, partly on the merits and partly because Mike Del Tufo has promised to take TJ to the game and his boys would not let him down with him in the building.

Home for the Giants, a win, respectfully. Then at Washington to close it out, dedicated to his boy Spider, a Washington fan who has called into the show. "You have no chance."

Final: fourteen and three. The one seed in the NFC. A four and three start followed by ten straight.

"Oh baby, we're back," TJ said. "I took a few years off from being the annoying Cowboy fan. I knew we weren't going to do much. But look, all we have to do, Chris, is have a defense that doesn't suck."

Here is the thing. Rich did not laugh it off, and the roster argument he laid out is genuinely strong. Dallas traded Micah Parsons and turned the assets into Rashan Gary, Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark. Add Caleb Downs on the back end. Add DeMarvion Overshown, who Rich called awesome. Add Jaishawn Barham out of Michigan, a really good football player. TJ threw in the best kicker in the league, and Rich agreed the leg is a weapon. Seventy yards is a win.

Put all that with a healthy offense coming back intact and two superior wide receivers, and you have an opportunity to do what TJ is saying.

The Vegas number, for context, is nine and a half. TJ's response to that: "Who makes these?"

All three guys on the show have now played the Dallas win-loss game this season, and all three came out at fourteen and three. Make of that what you will. TJ made something of it.

"We all know something," he said. "It's our time."

Rich, to his credit, planted the flag on the other side. "You were feeling good," he told TJ, "and you might regret it."

"Never."
